Purpose of this Privacy Policy:

This Privacy Policy is designed to help you understand what kind of information is collected in connection with Mindful Moves Ltd and how we will process and use this information. In the course of providing you with services, we will collect and process information that is commonly known as personal data.

 

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, retain and safeguard personal data.

 

Personal data requested:

To ensure you/individuals have a great experience, it is necessary to collect personal information about you/individuals. Depending on the service information will be collected electronically on Wix (booking and payment system) or via a personal liability/disclaimer or questionnaire (this may be online or in document form).

 

At a minimum this will hold your full name, phone number, email address, notes of previous injuries or current health conditions, what you/individuals would like to achieve from attending yoga, pilates, mindfulness and meditation or health and wellbeing coaching sessions. This information will be used to understand your/individuals current situation and will help inform what modifications/conversations may be required.

 

If there are any changes to your/individuals information, this can be updated in your account on the Mindful Moves website (Wix), confirmed by email or by amending the relevant documents.

 

By booking a service via a booking form, email, or by telephone we will ask you to agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

 

Your contact data in the form of name, email, telephone is stored online in MailChimp if you ‘Opted in’ or subscribed to the mailing list or on the Mindful Moves Website (Wix) if you have set up an account.

 

If you object to the collection and use of your personal data we may be unable to provide you with our services.

 

What we do with your information:

If you have entered information on the website or completed a personal liability/disclaimer or questionnaire all details are treated as strictly confidential and will not be shared with anyone else. All information is stored securely. We will take all appropriate technical and organisational steps to protect the confidentiality, integrity, availability and authenticity of your data.

 

Except where required by law, your data will NOT be shared with third parties or sold to contact lists.

 

Payment data is received via Stripe banking system, excluding card information (PAN number) this is not received/visible at any time.

 

Your rights:

Individuals have legal rights governing the use of their personal data. These grant you the right to understand what personal data relating to you is held, for what purpose, how it is collected and used, with whom it is shared (if applicable), where it is located, to object to its processing, to have the data corrected if inaccurate, to take copies of the data and to place restrictions on its processing.  Individuals can also request the deletion of personal data.

Email is the primary way of communication with you; completing your registration will automatically add you to the mailing list to receive updates, newsletters, information about future sessions and workshops. All mailings have an Opt-out/Unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email.

 

Duration your information is held for:

Retaining data is necessary where required for contractual, legal or regulatory purposes. It is a requirement that client/student records are taken and retained for a period of seven years.  After this time if you no longer wish to attend or receive information about classes or workshops your records will be confidentially disposed of and your personal data deleted from our contacts database.

 

Policy amendments:

We may update this Privacy Policy from time-to-time. We will post a new version on our website as well as notify you that we have updated the Privacy Policy. You are advised to read through the policy to ensure you are happy with the changes before continuing purchasing any of our services.
